Stage – TV – Radio – Marketing Communications

Ed brings training, study, and decades of experience across theater, broadcasting, and marketing to his voice acting interpretations, commercial voice over and narration work. A native of Wisconsin, he comes to the great Midwestern “General American” vocal style by birth!

Trained as an actor, Ed has appeared on stages from Off-Off-Broadway to Lincoln Center in New York City, and also created and operated a touring theater ensemble in the Midwest. He has provided his distinctive mellifluous sound as a voice-over talent and as an on-air announcer for many years beginning as an award-winning radio news reporter in Wisconsin, and later as Chief Announcer for a major classical and jazz music FM radio station in the Midwest. His work in corporate trade show and training video narration has included Kohler Co., Abbott Laboratories, Plenco (Plastics Engineering Co.), among others.

And, Ed also knows how to tell a story (or, spin one) — much of his professional career has been in international public relations and advertising; his keen understanding of message development and prioritization from years as a marketing communications professional inform his script interpretation for voice-over/narration assignments.
